Storage makeover

A few years back, i bought a mini cartoon storage for my son, but due to many years, the image was blur, and old, so, i decided to do a makeover.

Here is the original ...

so, this was what i did.... I cut four blue cardstocks (since it has 4 compartments) then, i stamped the background with Basic Grey's wild flower...using Versamark .

I add orange ribbon and butterfly stamped image ( also from Basic Grey's wild flower). I glued only the centre of the image, so, it looked more 3D. Lastly, add 2 acrylic gems at the butterfly body.

Tadaaa..

It become this...

CNY cards (aka Ang Pow's cover )

Hi there,

We're still celebrating Chinese New Year...

There is tradition where we give red packet (Ang Pow) to people for their blessing and good luck.

The Red Packet, 红包 (Hong bao, ang pow) is a rectangle envelope used for holding money as gifts during auspicious occasions. Red packets are usually red with auspicious characters, designs or symbols although gold colored red packets are also popular. Some red packets are in different shades of red and even pink.

In this occasion, i'd made 2 Ang Pow's cover with CNY greeting as well..for my -in laws,,,

Above two are the CNY greetings or the cover..and below two are the red packets (Ang Pow)..

More Valentine's cards

Another design is horizontal folded mini cards...

I add pink paper strip before stamp the flower image to the card, at the centre of the petal, i add acrylic gem.
Then add the heart die-cut from the craft punch. Voila...

VALENTINE CARDS

Last month, i had started made lots of Valentine's cards.. about 30 mini cards. My sister ordered those for her jewelry Valentine's gift packs. Till now, i just have time to post the pics..

For the butterfly.i use Wild flower clear stamp from Basic Grey..using yellow ink pad from Studio G. For the inside flower .. i use Studio G clear stamp, using VersaMagic's Pixie dust.

First i use craft punch at the front design. Then i add purple net to cover the hole, I use Sweet Serendipity clear stamp by Sassafras Lass for the love and flower stamp image.

For the flower front mini card, i add red satin ribbon for feminity.

Here's another mini Valentine's cards...

There are 3 different heart design for the cards.. first, with the net at the centre of the heart, the second is with small heart at the centre, and the last one i put at the left corner..Again, i add red satin ribbon to tie up the heart...^_^...

Valentine's day is at the corner.. most people who celebrate 'the day of love' will prepare their own cards (a big plus if there's a gift..^_^ ) ..which show in written words that sometimes, hard to say thru orally.

A great quote can add a meaningful translation of your feeling.
