Butterfly greeting card

This birthday card is made for my best pal ... although we've been so long didn't contact each other..but she remains my best buddy ...

Hi  sis... this is for you ... " HAVE A GREAT B'DAY , LINDA  ^_^  !! "

I used perfume purple card, add a black border , orange scallop circle, and butterfly die cut from Basic Grey-wild flower stamped image ..my fav ), then i add a greeting sentiment ..Happy Birthday !!  lastly top up with mini flower brad ....

Inside the card, i add black scallop border and top up with orange rick rack... Finishing touch with elegance butterfly die cut... bend a bit the wings for 3D dimension ... ^_^

In fact, my card proportion ... front in shorter than the back.. so when it closes... will see that black with rick rack border...like this....

Tokyo

It been years since my last trip to Tokyo, Japan. Yesterday, when i flipped the photo ... nostalgia was running in my mind.. and i was eager to try to scrapbook it.

I'm new of scrapbooking.. although i love it.  Mostly, i just love to watch others' creation from magazine.. Tried only a few times... coz' hard to find time to do it.  More on cardmaking or stamping in my leisure time.

When i found out that Scrap it Lah organised a challenge hop.. i'd like to participate with this theme..but then, forgot that we must be creative with Alpha...dunno if, thicker is accepted or not.. Maybe come back later for others... ^_^

I'd used making memories die cut pattern paper, coredination (for tree) .. TGF paper for photo mat.

For embellishment, leaf brads and sakura die cut and butterfly (from Basic Grey - wild flower stamped image).  Kanji letter is from Kodomo rubber stamp... You can get all from here

Also.... this sakura stamped image is from KODOMO foam set... All these can be bought at here
