X'mas greeting

Another reason to make cards....hehe...
Here's a X'mas greeting i made from free paper of Papercraft Inspiration magazine.

I love penguin.. it's so adorable.... don't u agree?? hehe... supposed to be HO...HOOO...HOOOOO...

Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight

##Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.....

HAPPY X'MAS !!!

Merry Merry X'mas

Wow !! Still 2 days to celebrate X'mas ... i made a Santa hat's card today ..

I use 120gsm red, white & green cardstock to match the season's theme. I cut 2 same template for the hat as i'd like to flip it like the card. For the white part of the hat, i cut 4 same pieces, 2 for the front & 2 for back cover.

Recently, i'd purchased lots of clear stamp. It was so easy to use. and it's great as i don't need to draw. It saves time. Alright, back to the card...hehe.. i used X'mas theme clear stamp. Some of them are free gift from my fav mag, Papercraft Inspiration. Like the Merry X'mas title, Snow flake, and Santa. For the X'mas tree & baubles, i use clear stamp from Studio G series 37.

After do the stamping, i put some color inside the image. i use normal color pencil. Esp, for Santa, i colored red for the hat, then add some color for the face, and add some blush for the cheek.

Final touch, i put some acrylic gems to my card (see front cover) , at the title, as well as for the X'mas tree... for bling...bling..bling....and bling.....

hope you like it...

and have a MERRY MERRY X'MAS !!!!!

Acrylic stamp

Acrylic stamp is so popular in cardmaking and stamping projects. It also called as 'clear stamp' as it's completely transparent.

To use, the stamps are simply removed from the protective backing and attached to the 'special' acrylic block. The stamps are then dabbed with ink and used as normal.

I made lots of purchase of clear stamps recently, as they're so irresistible. Just couldn't help myself.

I'd posted some of my new collections. Enjoy browsing...

There are many benefits of clear stamps,

some of them include :

Cost – clear stamps are often cheaper than traditional rubber stamps
Ease of Use – the stamps can be used immediately with a single acrylic block without having to mount or prepare the stamps in any way.
Accurate Stamping – as it's transparent mean that it is easy to accurately place stamps
Storage – clear stamps are simple to store and do not take up much room.

HAPPY HAPPY STAMPING  then..........
